Question
i have a cory catfish with  healthy fins and yesterday my angelfish is nipping at his right fin and I saw some red on it how can i heal him and stop the angelfish from nipping at him

Answer
Hi Conner,
Usually cory cats and angelfish do very well with each other because cory cats are bottom dwellers whereas angelfish are middle to top.  But since Angelfish are a type of cichlids, they do have a bit of agressiveness in their genetic pool.  There really is no way to prevent aggressivenes between the 2 fish other than seperating the 2 or adding a lot of decorations, live plants or fake plants at the bottom to provide hiding spots.  Do you only have 1 of each?  Both of these fish are schooling fish which need 6 or more of its kind.  The angelfish could be  stressed out being the only angel in the tank and its finding a way to cope with it.
