Baby Mollies?

Question
QUESTION: So Renee,
Are you sure I will receive baby fish?
and I'm in a bit of a tangle. My biggest tank is my main tank, with all the big fish. The only other tank I have with a filter  and heater is already occupied by 1 fancy guppy and it's not that big. I only have 1 more, but it is really small and it had no filter or heater. Where do I put the possible mothers and father? 1 more thing, When do I move them and do I place all 3 dalmatian Mollies or just the females?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!

ANSWER: Well, it's very tricky to tell when they are birthing.  Basically, one of the females will be laying near the botttom.  Put some live plants in a bunch in there incase you don't find her in time so the babies have a chance.

When she's birthing, move her out into her netted area or into her birthing tank.

Yes, if you have a male and females, you WILL have babies.  They are the rabbits of fish. :)  They are very prolific breeders.

I have revised this question to add something for you, Manahil.

This is a photo of someo of my baby Mollies.  The mother is Dalmatian and the fathers were Lyretail whites.  There is an orange in there somewhere as well, with a sailfin and a long, lyretail.

The babies will be interesting when they grow up, but for now, most are speckled grey and black. :)

QUESTION: They are really cute! But should I move the dalmatians to a different tank, even though the other tanks are smaller?

ANSWER: No, they should be fine in anything over 10 gallons, but soon as the momma is ready to birth, you need to separate her to someplace other than the main tank if you want them to survive.

QUESTION: I'm not allowed to spend more then 8 dollars and I don't have a 10 or up gallon tank, my big one is only about 8 and the others are 2 gallons and less. I'm hope less and out of ideas.

Answer
The 2 gallons are fine for babies, and the 8 for the adults, long as you don't house too many.

I do have ideas.  There are groups online called Freecycle groups. Go to Freecycle.org and find a group in your area.  Post a want ad for a free aquarium and see what happens.  Many people have them around and they're not using them.  Freecycle is where people give away free things and others take them, and then when they have things to offer, they give them up.  There is no money taken and no trading.  Just giving freely to each other.  It keeps things out of landfills, which drain into waterways, and does help the fish by keeping things out of landfills.

I use Freecycle and Craigslist all the time for fish-related items.

I would not worry too much about the babies.  If you don't have anything but mollies and a guppy, there is a very very good chance the babies will survive when born, if you provide places for them to hide, such as live plants.

Good luck
