Question
I have city water the ph and nitrite is high in it how can I fix this so I cam do water changes with out harmimg my fish.

The easiest way to lower p.h. and soften water, (which will reduce nitrite, is to add drift wood. Malasyian drift wood to be specific. The tanic acid turns the water yellow but the tent will go away over time and your water will be perfect. other wise you will have to use chemicals.
