Hi

I want to know something.Ilove the discus cichlid but some people just makes me wonder.They say if i buy a male and female that they will breed over a year after i have them..Now the question is if i buy a adult breeding pair will they spawn and raise young within the next few months???

Please help im very confused..

Not as easily as you think. They will only breed if the water parameters are correct. So if you want a male and female, go ahead, but they will only breed if you want them too. you will have to adjust the p.h., temperature, and softness of the water, in order for you to begin the breeding process.
