eels and cichlids

Question
I have a 46 gallon aquarium with cichlids in it. I have yellow labs, electric blues and some other assorted cichlids. They tank is an all rock setup with aquaclear filters. The ph is 8, ammonia nitrates and nitrites are all 0.
What kind of eel like fish can I put in my aquarium with cichlids. I know there has got to be one because I saw one on the internet, but I just can't remember where.
Will a reed/rope fish work? They are semi-aggressive.

I am not fimiler with ells. Only africans them selves. There are some ells that come from african that you can put in but make sure that they are only semi-aggresive because the fish you have in there right now are only semi-aggresive. I wish you the best of luck.
