QuestionThe other day when I was feeding my Black Moor I noticed that it's eye had what looked like blood on the bottom. He seems to be moving around fine and acting normal but I don't know what could have happened that made his eye bleed.
AnswerHello Carri-
He may have bumped into the glass or an aquarium decoration and ruptured a blood vessel. Filters and aggressive fish can also hurt a black moor's eyes.
If you are worried about infection, add a dose of aquarium salt to promote healing.
Hope this is helpful!
