follow up

I was feeding three times daily but for the last week ive only been feeding twice a day.  All my cichlids are Lake Malawi except the compresscips{eye biter} and a buccochromis nototaenia.  Do you think I should keep replacing the dead ones or just let the tank tell me how many fish it wants in there, is 25 too many and if so how many do you recommend...if you tell me its best ill quit with the pimafix and melafix today and start with the water changes tomorrow but how many days do I change the 30 percent?  Do you think I will lose all my fish?  Im on my way to get that brine shrimp to.

Hi Jay,
 The compressiceps is also from Malawi.  

 I would not keep putting in fish for now.  Let things settle down a little.  Exactly how many is very complex and depends as much on the individuals, their sizes and sexes, as on which species they are.  

 I would do the water changes for at least 3 or 4 days.

 My guess is that you will lose some fish but not all of them.
