African Cichilds

My African Cichild keeps laying on his side in the bottom of my tank is that normal? If not what can be done to help? Please help me.

Hi Tyler,
  Is he a Nimbochromis livingstonii?   If so, then yes, that is perfectly normal.  For most other cichlids, it is not normal and generally not a good sign.
