lion head injury

Hi Chris, I see you say no pond questions but I need help and don't want to ask the kids at Pet Smart. I have 2 lionheads along with Koi and goldfish when I came home this evening the Koi were chewing on both lionheads heads. To me they are pretty chewed on I put them in another pond and fed them to see if they would at least swim for it. One did the other just sits on the bottom. Of course my husband says don't worry but that's not me. I hope you will answer me if you have the time.

Hi Wendy;

Poor guys! Isolating them is a good idea and they should be able to heal on their own. You might want to add pond salt and Melafix to the water to help avoid infection and help regenerate damaged tissues.
