Breeder fish/Needle Nose

Question
Our needle nose will not eat any veggies or dried/frozen food. can we use any other kind of small fish for a feeder like guppies or only little roseys?  If the little roseys are the only ones can i breed them at home? My Tank is a 55 gallon tank all we have in it is 1 needle nose, 1 Bala shark, and an albino Pecostimus.

 A needle nose gar is a highly predatory fish. It will likely only eat fish.  You can breed guppies or other small fish at home but the cost of doing so is going to be far higher than the cost of buying them.
