fuzzy angel fish eggs.

Our angel fish laid eggs a few weeks ago then ate the egg, they laid again this week, we separated the eggs from the rest of our fish in the tank including the angel fish. Now there is a white fuzz growing where the eggs are at. What is the white fuzz?

Hi Tim,
 The white fuzz is often called a fungus, though technically it is a water mold.  In any case, it indicates that the eggs were not fertilized correctly and unfortunately will not hatch.
