growth of flowerhorn

I have a 3 month old baby albino in a 2:1:1 tank. Her tail & head has grown pretty good but my friend told me that the size of her is improper so what should i do for her better growth?

  I do not understand what a 2:1:1 tank is?  

It is a bit peculiar for someone to say that anything about a flowerhorn is "improper" because they are basically a manmade fish so they are whatever they are.
