Question
QUESTION: Hi,
My tank has one fake plastic plant, a big shell, some little shells and a small, fake seahorse. ( and gravel ).
Does it need more plants? (I can't get or handle real ones)
Bye!

ANSWER: Manahil,

It sounds cute.  The shell will keep the water nice and hard for the molly.  That's a good thing.

It sounds cute.

QUESTION: Hi,
Thanks, I guess it is pretty cute because now the guppy and his tank mates are getting along. It is such a relief not to be worrying about him in the other tank, thanks for telling me to put him back in the main tank. Anyway I have some questions for you.

Does my tank need more plants? (I'm worried that if the fry do come they will get eaten )

AND

Does the tank have enough space for more fish? If so how many?

I was thinking of getting a male dalmatian Molly to replace the one I lost. I know it won't be the same but at least I won't have to worry about getting no fry at all. I was also thinking of a couple females for my guppy. I've never seen baby guppies, especially fancy ones. I wonder if they have tail designs when they are born. It is really cool to think about all this. I'm glad I got into pet fish, they are really interesting creatures. I hope the more I learn about them the more better environment I can provide them with, like a bigger tank and a better filter. Thanks for everything!
Bye 4 now!

Answer
Hi Manahil,

I think that one more fish, maybe two, would be enough.  One male molly and maybe a female guppy?

It might be too much, but if you monitor water conditions, maybe it will be okay. :)

I would add plants.  Live plants.  They are great for filtration also.

The fry would love that.
