Pregnant Fish eat Babies?

Hello, I just received two new fish ffrom a Biology teacher at my school. The female was "supposidly" pregnant and I 'saw' her have the eggs but now I can not find them in the bowl. So did she or the male eat them?

Well first off, no fish can survive in a bowl. You also didn't mention what kind of fish they are. If she is an egg layer, then she cannot get pregnant. If they are in a bowl, and she did lay eggs, then most likely they did eat them. Most fish will but some won't. Let me know what kind of fish they are.
