Going away

Question
Hi, I'm going away for 6 days, but I don't know what to do with my budgie. Would it be ok by itself for 6 days? If not, what should I do with it?

It would definitely not be ok to leave it for 6 days. Who would be feeding it and giving it water? When i go away i normally leave my birds with a reliable relative. If i were you I would find a relative or a friend who you trust to care for your bird. There are pet sitters available if this is not an option. I'm sure there are bird/pet sitters some where near you. Although i don't recommend this or is it always possible, but, you could possibly take it with you. This would depend on where you are going and you would need to be extremely careful. This would be very difficult, so, i don't recommend it...just an idea. My suggestion to you would be to find a relative or a bird/pet sitter to watch your bird.
