Growth above beak

I wondered if with old age a budgies appearance will change like a person.  Above her beak around her nose there isn't a growth but a change in the appearance, but she is healthy and eating and drinking and the other budgie is also healthy.

I believe budgies can have their appearance change with age. I've watched my chicks grow old and then look back at pictures and realize how much they have changed, in appearance and personality. I've never come across anything in my research on budgies, but I still believe that it is possible.
