Question
Does the bird mites spray tread the mites on love birds?   How can i prevent my love bird form getting mites?   will thebird live a normal life after been spray for mites

Answer
I wouldn't recommend using any sprays unless prescribed by a vet.  Over the counter remedies are notoriously unreliable and can cause adverse health problems including liver cancer in birds.  The sprays/powders usually work on all types of birds.

Prevention usually isn't really necessary.  Mites are fairly rare.  Keep the cage clean, and you shouldn't have too much trouble with it.  The parasites can only survive on the animal, so as long as your birds aren't in contact with other animals, they shouldn't catch mites.

Yes, a bird will live a normal life after an infestation about 90% of the time.  The exceptions being if you used a treatment method that caused problems with the bird, or if the infestation caused damage to the eyes or nasal passages.  As long as it gets treated properly and quickly, any feather loss or sores from the mites will heal up.
