Pellets?

Question
Hi. I was just wondering, I have been trying to convert my birds to pellets for two weeks now, but they just don't eat them at all. I'm going to start breeding in a couple of days, and was wondering if I should keep the parakeet pellet/seed mix, or go back to seeds? Cause I don't want them to starve while breeding because they don't want to eat seed.  Also, what greens are the best for budgies, and where can I get dandelions for budgies? Thanks!

Answer
Mustafa,
I would leave them on the seeds until they are done breeding and the babies are eating seed themselves too. Pellets are better for them, but if your not wanting to wait to breed, then just keep then on seeds. My budgies wont eat anything but Broccoli and Coliflower. I am not sure where you are able to get dandelions for budgies but I'm sure theres a site online that sells them.

Good Luck!
