cage size for four cockatiels

Hi

Is a cage thats three feet long, two feet wide and two feet tall large enough for four tiels?


How far apart can the bars be?

That size sounds ample for 4 tiels to live and breed in :)

I am not sure of the exact spacing recommended for tiels, but I have used cages for larger parrots for my tiels. I have one cage that the birds can stick thier head thru the bars but not the body. I guess the main concern is that the spacing is not too far apart that the bird can injure itself. I think sensible judgement is more useful than measurements :)
