how do you know when your yellow parkeet is sick she had already layed eggs and its been a month and they havent hatched. what do i do

Hello Jess.  Thank you for your post.
If your parakeet has quit sitting on the eggs, then it is safe to take them out of the cage and discard them.  They are not fertile.
If your parakeet is puffed up for long periods of time, seems lethargic, or sits on the bottom of the cage for long periods of time, then your bird is sick and needs to be seen by a Certified Avian Vet right away.  Also, the same applies if you notice any kind of discharge from it's eyes or nose.
