Illness

Hello, I have a pair of American budgie that was given to me by my friend, It has been with me since April 10. My friend says it's already 6 month old when she gave it to me. I am just concerned about the health of my budgies, esp. the female one. I observed for almost a week now, that my female budgie seems to out of it. seems a little quieter than the usual, and she seems to be sleepy at all times, and always stay on the swing with her feathers in a relax mode. fluffy feathers it seems. Is there something wrong with her?

Hello, I'm not a vet and cant say for sure but when a bird tarts to act differently its very important to get that bird and its cage mate(s) to a bird vet right away. birds hide illness very well and only start to show signs rather late and something its too late to help so if shes being quiter then normal and sitting fluffed up(both signs of illness) take her in right away and it would be good to take teh cage mate in as well since illness spreads very easily and cahnces are if she is sick he is too but not yet showing signs.
