Question
hello sir, may i know why to line drive a horse, especially baby horses. what does a horse learn from line driving?

Answer
I do not "line drive" a "baby" horse. If you mean "line drive" as in lunging, it is to teach the horse to turn and face you with two eyes and to teach changes of direction on command. It is also used to teach the horse to respect you and your personal space so the horse does not crowd you and get too close to you. If you mean "line drive" as in using long lines behind the horse, that is to teach the horse to take cues from the reins and to teach it to follow commands for go, whoa and turn.
