Question
hello ma'am, most of our indian thoroughbred racehorses are 15.3hh. if they are trained correctly with perfect confirmation, soundness, will they be able to jump over 6 feet fence clearly without knocking the poles and without facing difficulty? please tell madam

Answer
Jumping 6 feet is unrealistic...

plus you start out first being certain they can go over ground poles correctly, a cross rail correctly, small vertical, etc.

Even the Olympic show jumpers jump more spreadds and fences near 4'6" to 5' averages.

Your goal needs to be gaining the knowledge to train a horse correclty with kindness, and not
how high you can jump or how fast can they run.

This is how horses are abused and ruined.

Trying to get horses to jump 6 feet (to me) is not an important goal....bringing them along correctly so that they can jump a large couse would be a better idea.

Yes, high jump records are well over 6 feet, but if you want personal goals that tax a horse's mond and body, better those riders buy a motorcycle.....
Remember the Grand National in England...horses die on it every year. In the States we often have horses crashing and being injured or being killed jumping huge fences.
