Grooming

Question
I lease a white horse!  He can never be clean!  We can brush him for hours and he will still not be clean!  It is to cold to wash him!  What should I do?

 you can buy dry shampoos to use when it is too cold, try that ! however unless you are showing the horse, don't worry about it being dirty, if its cold grooming him and washing him will get rid of the natural oils in his coat that keep him warm, it is very unhealhy for him to be lacking in these so i would keep the grooming and washing to a bare minimum- all he really needs is a quick brush down and have his hooves thoroughly picked out.
