Question2 months ago i have bought a 5yr old quarter horse mare.but just moved her to our farm. So i have been walking her around the place to get her use to thing she has never been trail riden.
I have notice the her leg seems to make a popping sound the man that I bought her from said that she has had that leg hurt before. She also doesn't like for me to pick it up.She is not limping and it is not hot to touch. what should i do thanks kim
AnswerYOU DID NOT LET ME KNOW IF IT IS A FRONT LEG, OR HIND. CAN YOU DETERMINE WHICH JOINT IS POPPING?
YOU CAN TRY 1 1/2 BUTE PILLS FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND SEE IF IT STOPS.
IF SHE IS NOT LAME, I'D JUST PUT UP WITH IT, AS MEDICATIONS TO HELP CAN GET VERY COSTLEY.
THERE IS A PRODUCT OUT CALLED VAXAMINE THAT IS ANTI-INFLAMITORY AND A PAIN RELIEVER BUT IF COSTS $109.FOR 90 PILLS AND YOU NEED AT LEAST 3 PILLS A DAY. BUTE IS CHEAPER BUT CAN CAUSE ULCERS IF USED OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME
GOOD LUCK
