cleaning hoofs

Hi Lana,
My horse will NOT puick his leg up for me to clean his hoofs..What can I do? I have tried running my finger down his leg..I have not done his hoofs in a while and I am afraid he will get thrush if I don't..I would love to teach him yes and no too..dur2i

I need more information.

How old is your horse?  Is this a new horse for you?  Is someone helping you?  What does he do when you try to pick his feet up?  How long have you had the problem?  Is it a new problem?  How does the farrier get him to pick up his feet?

Please also explain what you mean when you say;  "I would love to teach him yes and no too."
