is my horse too old?

i got my horse from the man who owned her and i rode her for him but unfortunately he died and i got her. she is now cuming 15 and she did showjumping and crosscountry up to 1metre 10cms when she was round the age of 8yrs old till about 11yrs and she wasnt worked for 2 years then i worked her. she is 17hh half clydstale half thoroughbred and she is getting fit again i would say using the scale she is around moderate to fleshy. my granda says she is too old and shes been there and done that! i want to do competitions again, do you think she can? im only looking to do  1metre in showjumping and crosscountry at the highest. is she too old?

No d do not believe she is too old... I got my horse as a 15 year old who had been in extreamly light work and now we are getting ready to go novice( 2 foot 11 inches, just take your time conditioning him and never be afraid to ask your vets opinions.
