roping a horses neck

I just acquired a three year old filliy paint. She is 15.4hh. I've just started lessons again after 25 years. The trainer siad to me that she needs her head roped. what exactly does this mean?  P.s. I,m very interested in having her trained using only positive training thanks

I say this to you with all respect and courtesy.

Get another trainer!

Also, if the filly is 15.4 then she is 16 hands.  Each 4 inches equals another hand.  A 16 hand 3 year old will be a handful, so be sure that you get a knowledgeable and accomplished trainer. You don't want to ruin the filly or get yourself hurt. Check out the trainer's references and talk with past clients to be sure.
