RE: Driving Bits

I currently drive my half-arabian horse in a kimberwick.  Is it ok to show my horse in pleasure classes with this bit or do I need a "driving bit"?

Hello,
I am not very familiar with full-size horse driving rules, but they are very similar to minis.  It all depends on the show you drive at.  For local schooling shows, kimberwicks are fine.  If you do higher-level shows, you will need a "driving bit", unless the rules state otherwise.  If your horse needs a stronger bit then the common snaffle, try a liverpool.
