Question
i was born in phila pa i now live ok i'm getting a belgian 1-1/2 yrs old she has to be trained how do i not be scared of her

Answer
My first question to you would be are you scared of her size, or just horses in general?  If you are scared of the horse for the reason of her size, and you are not quite large in size, or are going to use for her for driving or heavy uses, then getting a horse of that size is impractical for you.  You would be better off getting a reasonable size horse which would not intimidate you with its size.  If you truly need a horse of that size, you would be best buying a well trained horse that is already experienced that you feel comfortable learning with rather than having you both trying to learn at once.  A green horse and green rider is not a good combination.  It is confusing for both you and the horse at best and dangerous at worst.

If you have a fear of horses in general, it would be best worked out by going to a riding school and dealing with well trained horses and getting good instruction as confidence in your abilities will assist you.  Good luck in your future horse endeavors.
