Question
QUESTION: Thanks for the information. It was nice of to offer to come out and see Dolly but I live in Michigan, alittle to far:(. I've been reading about horses on your site and how they think and it makes sense to me why Dolly acts the way she is. I'm going back out there tomorrow to see her but this time with better understanding and confidence because of the information on your site and your advice.

Thanks so much
Kristin

ANSWER: Thanks and I hope it works out.  Horses really are simple, they respect another who makes them move, so if you move a horses feet, he will see you as a leader.  So be aware of his tests and when he test you just move his feet, back him up a few steps, make him lounge, move his butt away from you, have him follow you, anything you make him do, you tell him you are in charge and he will see you and accept you as a higher horse.  :)

Give the little guy a hug for me.

QUESTION: I emailed you awhile ago regarding a horse Dolly I was working with. I am happy to report that Dolly and I have become the best of friends, she no longer trys to nip at me and she is very manageable now. I wanted to thank you again for your advice and the info you share on your website.

Answer
Thanks, glad to hear it.  I do this to help horses so when I hear that it worked, I appreciate it.

thanks again for your kind words and don't stop reading and learning about them, the old saying, take care of your horsemanship and it will take care of you.  Another good saying, the best teacher of the horse, is the horse.

best wishes,

Rick
