QuestionI am considering buying a quarter horse yearling from this farm. (Located in Maryland.) Any word regarding their reputation? Thanks.
Answerdear anne,
I live in wisconsin, but the name would put me off in general, If you are buying any horse even from the worlds best breeder you should get a vet to check out the horse, one that has never gone to that farm or isn't friends of the owners, Sometimes the owners will call in a vet and pay then extra to lie to you about things so you will buy the horse. I am not saying that everyone does that but i know from experiance that it does happen. Make sure the horse has negative coggins, strangles, rhino flu vaccines and whatever else is in your area to be aware of.
