Buying a horse

Question
I have begun horse riding twice a week, and the intention is to eventually buy
a horse. I have a lot to learn before I do that, is there any advice you could
give me to 'prepare' myself or steps I should take in order to do this?

You can always continue with your lessons, volunteer to help around at the barn or assist trainers or stable hands with their work. It will give you a good idea of what to expect as a horse owner and hopefully teach you what you are looking to learn!
