Question
How does narrow chested(horses that has a narrow spacing between their front legs) affect their running?

How can this be cured or prevented?

Answer
Hi Ralph.
How it affects the horse really depends on how they move. Some will bash their knees---others will never touch them. Really depends on the individual horse.
Corrective shoeing can sometimes help. The old timers would tell you that the best cure is to trade the horse for a dog, then shoot the dog.
