Wierd behaviour

Question
Juggs (my RES) will start swimming at the wall and as he is doing this he will bring his little feet to his head and shake them. What does this mean? Is it a threatening gesture or a mating one? I only have one turtle. Im confused. It looks cute though. ^.^

I have heard about RES turtles doing this, and I finally had to check out a video on you tube because I just could not imagine what it looks like.  You are right, it IS cute!

It's a good gesture, like a greeting or a mating one.  Either he sees you and is greeting you, or he sees his reflection in the glass wall LOL.

Try greeting him back by doing the same thing in return and see what happens LOL.
