QuestionI have a skunk gecko that just layed an egg. The egg is white and round and is stuck to a sea shell i put in her cage wich is now in an incubatori made. How do i tell if the egg is fertile and if it is how long does it take to hatch and what temperture do i keep it at also what humidity level should it be at ?
AnswerHello Devan,
She laid just one egg?
If the egg is fertile it should be harder shelled & can be fragile. It is is infertile, it will probably be discolored & not white.
The temperatures should run around 82-83 with a humidity around 80-90% and good ventilation so moisture wont fall on the egg & cause mold issues.
The eggs normally take around 90-140 days to hatch out, depending on the conditions.
Is she housed with a male?
