Question3 days ago I accidentaly squished a geko in my window -only half of him got squished. He looked like he couldn't use his back legs for a while but now they seem to be getting better. But he is still squished a bit. I want to make sure that I look after him properly. Do you think I should catch him and put him in a box with some heat, hiding places, water and food until he is better? Thank you
AnswerDear Sam,
thank you for your question.
If you really want to help him, you need to see a herp vet with him, but there's a good chance that the only thing the vet can do for him is put him down. But it's better to let a vet do it that have the gecko suufer for long if it's really that serious. He may soon fall prey to another animal, though.
You'll find a list of herp vets here:

I hope I was of some help to you
