QuestionOk thank you so much! you really helped me so much. One last thing, How do I know if its pressure treated? All I know is that at the lumber stores there is 2 kinds of Fir. The "untreated" and the "treated". The untreated is the regular light tan. And the treated has a Greenish look to it. Is that the only difference between untreated and treated? And how do you know if its "pressure treated"? Does it look a certain way or something?
AnswerDear Eric,
The untreated is probably fine. The pressure treated stuff with the toxic heavy metals usually has a greenish look to it that's caused by the arsenic salts in it. BAD for bunnies.
If in doubt, just ask the managers, and they'll tell you.
Good luck, and have a good weekend!
