What kind care does the offspring need? Which of the parents provide this care and how?

Answer
Hi Sarah,

The mother will feed her litter and care for them until they are weaned. The father plays no part in the upbringing. In fact, he should be separated from the mother as soon as she has been mated otherwise the parents will fight and the father will kill the babies when they are born.
