My rabbit had a litter last night and boy were we surprised! I wanted to know: how old should they be when I start handling them?

Hi Steph,

You should give the mother as much peace and quiet as possible. You can start handling the babies when their eyes open at 10-12 days. However, if one comes out of the nest before that, you can put it back in otherwise it will die of hypothermia.
