Question
Hello, I just bought a beautiful gray-brindle six week old female mini rex bunnie, she in now exploring her cage. How long should I wait until I hold her? how do I get her to like me? and at what age should I get her spayed?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Answer
You can try to hold her at any time, however, at this age she is like a puppy or kitten and prefers to go out and explore and get into trouble (although bunnies prefer to chew cords and things rather than shoes).

As long as you are consistently nice to her, and don't force her to be picked up if she doesn't want to be, she will like you.  Petting is also good encouragement.

Here is some information about spaying and neutering, if she is female, you will do that at about 6 months of age.  http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/spay-neuter.html
