Paralysis in hind quarter

Question
We have a dutch house rabbit named Bunster and he will be seven in February. Bunster has been very healthy but I have noticed twice in the past week that when he got up to walk across his cage, his hind quarter seemed to drag behind...like it's paralyzed. It seems to last less than 10 seconds and then Bunster is fine.

Any idea if this is something common in house rabbits as they get older?

Answer
It's possible he could be arthritic, certainly it would be worth taking him to a vet to x-ray him to see if there are any spinal issues.

If you check out this site, http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabrefs.html#arthritis it has info on symptoms and treatments and other things it might be rather than arthritis.
