Question
Hi.I'm thinking of building a shed outside for my two rabbits so they can live outside.Do you think this is a good idea? There is only one neighborhood cat but I don't think she would bother my rabbits because one of them is kind of like her size. And if I do build a shed what kind or wood should I use? And what kind of toys should I put inside? Should I buy perches for them to jump on? My idea of this shed would be three wooden walls(including the door) and one fence for air and the roof.

Answer
It's going to depend on the weather in your area.  If it never gets above about 90 degrees, it shouldn't be a problem.  Otherwise they will get too hot.  Definitely use untreated wood, the kind isn't really going to matter.

You can get ideas for toys and ramps and perches and such at http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabcare.html#house there are so many ways to do it I couldn't describe them all in one email.
