Question
Hey.My rabbit has been limping for two days already.I think she might've been jumping on things in her shed and she might've slipped and fell. She limps but when she has to, she'll use her injured hand.Normally she uses both her hands to clean but now she only uses the uninjured one. What's wrong with her hand?

Answer
Hi Vanessa,

I am sorry but I cannot tell you exactly what the injury(ies) is.  It is fairly clear that she has hurt her front foreleg or shoulder.

You need to get her to a good rabbit vet right away.  They will be able to tell you what the injury is, but they may need an xray to determine if bones are broken or dislocated.

If you don't have a good rabbit vet yet, please visit:

www.rabbit.org\vets

and find a House Rabbit Society recommended rabbit vet in your area.  Finding and using a vet that has high marks and lots of experience with rabbits will save you time and money by getting the problem figured out faster and getting you on a proper course of treatment than vets who rarely/seldom see a rabbit.  It will also save your gal time suffering.

Please get to a vet as soon as physically possible.  The injury sounds like it is getting worse as she is losing functionality of her foreleg.
