Peanut syndrom in Hollands and Dwarfs

Hi, I've raised mini lops/ Netherland Dwarfs for fifteen years. I have to explain about the fatal peanut syndrome to my College Genetics class & I can't b.s because my professor raises bunnies too. My question is what is the reason why one bunny is born much smaller and is unable to survive after a few days?

Actually,if you read my reply ,I said that it happend through inbreeding,which in turn is also through the genes..I didn't go into great detail because that is all I DO know about it. There are different explanations,and your negative feedback wasn't necessary. But thanks for wasting my time in replying to a question you apparently already knew.  Pretty sneaky if you ask me,
