Question
also i read that lionheads display affection by circling you. my rabbit does this constantly and now even circles when im sitting on sofa by jumping on back of sofa and than on to floor. he's also well trained but recently started leaving pellets next to me and soiled on the carpet, which is totally out of character. he uses a litter tray in hutch but wont use it indoors. any ideas or help with what's up?

-----Question-----
Hi i have a lionhead whose mane has become rather matted on each side of his neck. It appears to be in large lump, but im not sure the beat way to de-matt it. it definaitely will not comb out as its thick. would i be better taking him to the vets?
-----Answer-----
Hi Sharn,
The best wat to deal with this is with the vet..he/she  may have to shave it and the vet will need the help from someone to restrain the rabbit very well.
Once the coat has come back, get your bun used to being brushed about twice a week, this will prevent any more matts.
Good luck,Elizabeth

Answer
Hi,
It's normal for a rabbit to drop pellets here and there, there's not much you can do about this. If he's usually in the hutch and goes in the tray, that's what's more important then what he does in the house during playtime.  If he's to stay indoors, then you have to start litter training him inside.
