rabbit heat

how would i go about recognizing that my rabbit is in heat ive noticed some things like hopping around franticly and over excited behavior from my female...can you help me?

She will have a  more agressive attitude. Rabbits unlike dogs have short, but often heat cycles. They are in heat for 14-16 days with 4-7 days break in between cycles. To check for sure if the female is in heat, sex her as if you were trying to determine male or female. The area should be dark red to purplish if she is in full heat. The lighter the color the less she is in heat. A rabbit not in heat will have a very light pink to almost white vagina.
