Question
My rabbit is making groaning noises (kind of wheezing) and slamming his back feet on the ground. I am worried as i don't know what is wrong. Do, you know what it could be?

Answer
Jenny, slamming the back feet is usually a sign of fear - a warning to the rest of the herd.  Wheezing could be a sign of a lung infection.  I would take him to a vet to make sure it is nothing serious..if it were just the thumping I would say he was hearing something strange and was fearfull but the wheezing is not something to brush off lightly.
