first litter

My rabbit is 6 months old and on Wednesday gave birth to 7 babies, by Thursday morning all of the rabbits had died, it was a freezing cold night and i was wondering weather it was down to the weather or something else and was there something i could have done to stop this from happening?

 Well the cold weather is probably the reason they died.
Baby rabbits are born hairless and have no way to keep warm except by the mother and by the nest she builds. in cold weather I usually cover the hutch or bring in the cage atleast in a gargae away from the wind.
