Question
hi...my friend almost(well did) ran over a "litter" of baby bunnies and he picked them up before i could tell him not to touch them but they were so skinny that we could see their ribs and so i took one and he took one and my neighbors took 3 and i ve been feeding him this formula stuff that the wildlife refuge center said would be ok but it has to be diluted and when we found them their eyes were still closed and they just opened last week but i was wondering if i should let mine go and when or if i could raise him and keep him.....he has gained a lot of weight sine we found him if you could tell me what i should do id be very grateful....

Answer
Dear Kaela,

Here are complete instructions for care, rehab and release of wild baby rabbits:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/wildbabies.pdf

I use the formula and procedures described here:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/orphan.html

I hope that helps.
